Professionally engineered and approved heavy recovery setup specifically built for this Mack Trident, incorporating a rear-mounted NRC Industries underlift with tag axle and JOST fixed turntable. An engineer was engaged to obtain approval for the recovery unit to be fitted to the Mack Trident.
The specially built heavy recovery rear can be backed up to the Mack's JOST turntable and connected via the turntable and locking mechanisms, in much the same way as coupling a semi-trailer. The recovery unit can be fitted or removed within minutes, providing the flexibility to operate the Mack as a crane truck or with the heavy recovery setup.
The combination is now plated and capable of registration in any state in Australia, with the recovery system designed for heavy vehicle recovery applications, including buses and other heavy vehicles, subject to the applicable GCM, axle and component ratings.
Fitted with a 2019 Hiab X-HiPro 362EP-3 crane, 7,700 kg maximum lift, 10.3m maximum reach, remote control, E-stops and stabilising legs, plus toolboxes, bull bar, spotlights, AdBlue, inter-axle lock, surround cameras and 5,600mm from rear of cab to rear of chassis, 10,450mm overall length including approx. 1,600mm overhang from recovery unit, spare keys and partial service history.
Crane & Heavy Recovery Unit fitted.
Should a purchaser only require the Mack Trident and crane, the heavy recovery unit can be removed and sold separately if required.
