The big advantage is its screening system. The pickup blade can work down into the sand, and the machine screens out debris while returning sand to the beach. The rear finisher then leaves that groomed, grooved appearance.
For the kind of commercial beach cleaning you’ve talked about before, this is a serious machine. At the manufacturer’s maximum rating, 10 acres is theoretically just over 2 hours of actual cleaning, although real-world production will be lower with turns, wet sand, debris, unloading and obstacles.
